The image below is called a Liner.
A liner is not a frame in itself. It's used as border to separate the art
itself from the frame. You could say it's like framing it twice. If you
decide that you want a liner on your piece then use the image size as your
frame size. This will change the actual frame size you will ultimately need because of
the added liner. Simply add 2 1/2" to the size in both directions.
Example: Image size 20x24. The liner size will be 20x24. However,
adding the
liner will make the piece 22 1/2"x26
1/2". The result being a frame size of 22 1/2"x26 1/2". So,
when you go to the price grid use this new size as the frame size. For pricing purposes
simply add both the liner price and the frame price together.
